NPAPI disabled in the recent versions of Chrome

Purpose

This article describes why Bosweb will no longer work on Google Chrome version 45 and higher. NPAPI has been disabled and the Java plugin will no longer work.

Symptoms

Bosweb will no longer load because the Java plugin is not detected in Google Chrome.

Cause

Resolution

As a temporary workaround, you may choose to use another browser such as Internet Explorer, FireFox, Opera, or Safari.
